It takes me out of the story every time! Feb 07, Tiffany rated it really liked it Shelves: series , characters-i-root-for. It's the last book in the series! I really liked reading this! Even though it's soooo not extra high reading level like the books I like to read sometimes, but I like this book! Nov 04, Michelle marked it as to-read. Nov 20, Andrea Arana rated it it was amazing.

Massie is finding out that she was broke when her father lost his job then got a new job "'over the pond'" away, which is "'opposit it was an ah-mazing way to end the series that way. Massie is finding out that she was broke when her father lost his job then got a new job "'over the pond'" away, which is "'opposite of acceptable'" and now faced with the decision of staying or leaving, but she decided at the new years yves's party that she made the pc, her bffs, into what they are now and that she can't stick around forever, but they'll be fine without them and so can she.
James is toe-dally ah-dorable when she spoke to him, so in that part, she'll turn out ok. Alicia, massie's second-in-command and our all time fave beta, has to come with the fact that she's no longer the beta, but the alpha of the pc, now. Charm Bracelet to the new alpha. Kristen, is the most different from all of them when i read the series. Dylan is facing cameras and comes to terms that she, her mother and 2 older sisters are still ohb-sessed with their weight, which is the biggest thing when it comes to men and women everywhere, but in the end, dylan accepts that she's beautiful the way she is, with or without Caribbean cleanses and she's the only one that made me spit out soda when she burps out random stuff, but can still keep that self-condfidence and charm with her head held high and not be ashamed at what she's doing, even at the expense that her mom ah-greed into doing a fake time ten reality show called "'Marvilous Marvils'" how lame is that name?
Claire, our resident "America's Sweetheart" of the group has received some good and bad news all at the same time. On the bright side, she just found out that her parent's have just bought a house and it's right next door to Layne's which is right on her street and still close by to OCD still funny when i think about it: a school named after a psychological condition: GENIUS!!!
The Clique #14: A Tale of Two Pretties
No more Friday night sleepovers, GLU Meetings and most of all: no more seeing her bff ever single day and within walking distance of the door. Lisi, if you're reading this i hope i'm sad as well as most of your fans to see it end, but thanks for making this story into an ah-mazing series!!!! May 29, Mary Elizabeth rated it really liked it. Readers alike will without a doubt be on edge and mentally debate over how each member of the Pretty Committee member will face arduous challenges; challenges that both meet their interests but equally interfere with their solid friendship. Those being moving for Massie, reality television for Dylan, becoming an alpha for Alicia, soccer for Kristen and photography for Claire.
Fortunately, readers will be relieved to know that they do claim victory but only so at a New Year's Yves party. This upgraded image will leave the readers content with the way Harrison has decided to steer their favorite characters. Those being, to be yourself, to stand up for what is right, to believe in your potential, and to not be afraid of asking for help if insecurity strikes.
Oct 24, Sara Nehring rated it really liked it. Personal Response: I was entertained while reading this book, by Lisi Harrison. I admired her use of character point of view. The author created five unique and diverse characters and mentioned each of their views to a situation. I would be interested in reading other stories by this author, because I was fond of this book. Plot: In Westchester, New York, five alpha girls dominate their middle school. Massie, Dylan, Alisha, Kristen, and Claire are on the top of the popularity roster.
Throughout this story, boy crushes, teen drama, and financial difficulties are hurled at the girls. Standing arm in arm, the girls are able to overcome many of their hardships. When job opportunities become available for Massie's father in England, the girls have to decide how to obtain their elite status. Through sorrowful "goodbyes" and "see you laters" will the girls ever be the same? Other girls do not dare to take this status away from her in fear of Massie's fierce determination! When financial matters strike Massie's family, she must put on a strong outer appearance and brave through her hardship, even when she is feeling low.
Recommendations: I would recommend this book to any girl between the ages of 12 and This is a very dramatized novel and the reader should have a sense of perspective to decode what other characters are feeling and responding. I would rate this book four out of five stars, for the use of deep characterization and emotions. Jan 04, Olgaod96 rated it really liked it Shelves: 3rd-tri-books. Alicia has her own dance troupe, Kristen has been excepted to the Soccer Sisters, Claire has a photography class with her boyfriend Cam, Dylan went to the Caribbean with her family, and now the Marvils have their own reality show, the Marvelous Marvils.
But Massie's parents have a surprise for her after her dad loses his job because of the economy. She has to move "across the pond" to a much bigger house. At first, Massie thinks that they have to move to one of the houses across the actual pond, but those house aren't big at all.

Then, she realizes that her parents meant across the Atlantic Ocean, to England! Now, all Massie can do is protest, but when that doesn't help, all she can do is sit back, close her eyes, and wait for her 'popularity' life to be over. I loved this book because it is of course, the last one in the series and I think it was one of the best. I wish that Lisi Harrison could just make one more book up to the part where the Pretty Committee could 'reunite' again, except they weren't because they can just use technology i.
Facebook, e-mail, Twitter, texting. I so wish that the story could go on, but I think that Lisi Harrison is out of ideas. Aug 14, Danielle rated it really liked it Shelves: lisi-harrison , books-i-own , the-clique. I have to say, I'm a bit sad to see these end. I've been reading this series since pretty much the beginning, i started them when the second came out back towards the end of , and I've been reading them since.
Having read these books for the past 7 years, and having them have been such a big part of my childhood, as they were my favorites for years, I'm sad and actually got teary eyed towards the end. The other part of me thinks it was just time for the series to end, as they were starting t I have to say, I'm a bit sad to see these end.
The other part of me thinks it was just time for the series to end, as they were starting to feel kind of silly. Besides the point, this was a good conclusion to the series and by the way it ended, sounds like there could be a potential spin-off. The final installment really brings the five of the girls together, who have been stuck in middle school for over half a decade now, through some of their biggest challenges yet, as they face some serious decision making and uncertainty in their future.
I think this was the first time in the series where these girls got along with each other through the whole book, but if you read it, you would see why that is the case. The book had a few "OMG" moments, as was expected, but in the end, I think the series ended in the right place.

Jul 08, Karina rated it it was amazing. What a sad last clique novel! I will miss Massie, Alicia, Dylan, Kristen okay and Claire :p but most of all I found it sad to see that such a great series has finally come to an end! They will never be forgotten i grew up with this series In the end, I found my "clique" and we are absolutely perfect together!
Apr 22, Emily Benoit rated it really liked it Shelves: reads-of Amazing end to the series. Really makes me sad to think that this is it.
Really, I wonder if maybe she will. Anyway, I grew up with these books, and it makes me so sad to think it's over. I remember all these fond memories. Reading the books while traveling, staying up all night because some of them were so good. Back to the story. The girls seemed to really grow up in this one. They realized things a Amazing end to the series.
They realized things about themselves, and finally seemed to understand one another. I'm not going to give a lot away, but if you've been fed up with the shallowness of the clique in the past books, trust me, this one is not the same. A great, great end, but I'm going to miss the quirky five we all have grown up to love or hate!
Mar 03, Amy rated it liked it. It was actully sort of touching in away and had a great ending. I felt like the book was just dragging on and on. The middle and beginning were just dull and I only really started to get intrested in what was up with the clique in the last 60 pages or so. Over all a good book and a great way to end the PC and the series. It reminds me why I read these shallow books, because of the heart Well, I dont exactly know how to write but I'm certain that I'm happy with the way Lisi Harrison ended the PC.
It reminds me why I read these shallow books, because of the heartfelt messages at the end. It's not the drama or the relationship aspect of it but is like actully a book about friendship if you read all the books. I wouldnt have ended the series any other way, it was a great quick read. Apr 11, Nehas rated it it was amazing. Secrets, secrets and more secrets. Nobody wants Massie to leave, including herself.
At the end of this whole book The PC teaches you, that you can't hold onto the past, there's always a time in your life when you have to make a big change. Another lifelong lesson is that, what goes up, must come down; Massie can't have the glory of and Alpha forever. This book really changes your point of view you don't take anything for granted. It's really slow paced, but engrossing. I recommend this book not only for romance lovers which is this books genre but for people who like tales of friendship!! I Heart Lisi Harrison!!!!!!!
Aug 04, Graili rated it liked it Shelves: gossip-drama. This was probably the best book in the series, given the plot was a little foolish but it always is and a little boring at spots. But it was enjoyable to read as it was the end of the series.

I really liked the last line about the perfect memory, because it shows that even if they were silly and fought and did a lot of stupid things, they really were friends. The epilogue was good because it shows us that life goes on, and though we won't reading about the Pretty Committee's adventures and misadventures, it showed us that they aren't over.
